Couples Therapy

A relationship goes through numerous phases during its life cycle -- some more challenging than others. Having arguments and disagreements are not signs that a relationship is trouble. The sustainability of the relationship depends really on how the couple fights and resolves issues. Therefore, learning how to effectively communicate is of utmost importance. To be able to do that, however, requires a deeper understanding of yourself and your partner.

When couples call for therapy, they are usually in distress and frustrated to the point of feeling helpless and sometimes hopeless. “Please fix us,” is typically the first request I hear. While I wish I had some magic pill that would “fix” you, I can only help guide you in tuning into where your emotional connection has broken down, or more likely, has yet to be discovered...Relationships can be saved and strengthened if both parties are willing to be vulnerable and understand themselves on a deeper level.

As a couple’s therapist, I can be your guide to help you on your journey together and bring you to a new place of true intimacy and trust.
